Send adopters home with the records, not a folder of paper
About a minute at the desk. The adopter scans a code and walks out with everything you know about that animal already organised — and keeps it current from there.
Free for shelters. Always.

Type what you know
Name, species, the vaccinations you gave, the microchip. Only the name and species are required — skip the rest if you're busy.
Turn the screen around
The adopter scans a code with their phone camera. That's the whole handoff — no app to install at the desk, no email to wait for.
They take the record home
Their passport is already filled in. They get reminded when the next dose in a series is due, instead of discovering it months later.
This isn't a shelter management system
It doesn't do intake, kennels, fostering, or reporting, and we're not trying to replace PetPoint or anything else you already run. Monty does one thing: it gets the animal's health record into the adopter's hands in a form they'll actually keep using.
Once an adopter claims their pet, their record is theirs. You keep your own adoption history — what you entered, who adopted, when — but you won't see what they add afterwards. That's deliberate, and it's enforced by the database, not by policy.

Adoption day is the animal's day zero
Everything you already recorded while it was in your care — vaccinations, the chip, the spay date, what's still due — goes home with the adopter instead of being retyped by their first vet, or lost.
We're piloting with a few Chicago shelters
If your adoptions are busy and your paperwork walks out the door on a printed sheet, we'd like to talk.
